Acne patients demonstrate high levels of social, psychological, and emotional impairment including suicidal ideation. The pandemic induced stress, has further lead to aggravation of acne and it appears acne patients require "ongoing" care now more than ever. Acne appears to be a common issue for which patients seek video consultations, however it comes with its own pitfalls. These limitations, along with a lack of proper counselling of the acne patient and "do it yourself" solutions flooding the internet has made it pertinent for the dermatologist to embrace the change, educate the patient and provide optimal on going acne care.Downloads
