Abstract

Porokeratosis is a group of disorder of uncertain cause characterized by abnormal epidermalkeratinization with the histologic finding of cornoid lamella. To date, five major clinical variantshave been identified. This unique group of disorders of keratinization is reviewed here, with specialreference to the differentiation of each component and their management.
