Scabies Masquerading as Chronic Bullous Disease of Childhood; A Case Report

Scabies is a common parasitic infestation caused by the Sarcoptes scabiei mite, typically presenting with pruritic papules and burrows. Chronic Bullous Disease of Childhood (CBDC) is an autoimmune blistering disease characterized by tense bullae and erosions. Here, we present a case of scabies masquerading as CBDC in an 8-year-old child. The misdiagnosis led to delayed appropriate management and highlights the significance of considering scabies in differential diagnosis of blistering dermatoses, particularly in endemic regions.
