Discovery of a new onset dark brown lesion.

A new lesion which is dark brown is discovered on the shoulder of a young female after returningfrom a sunny holiday.Patient has a previous history of melanoma and attends for regular mile mapping.
We look at the before and after images with dermoscopy, and follow this by exploringthe clinical possibilities that can lead to this finding through a quiz .We analyse the effects of UV radiation and tanning on skin and discuss dermoscopy findings of relevant pigmented lesions.
